Use Pipedrive’s Smart Docs to create a new document, either from scratch or by using a template. Save time and avoid errors by auto-filling your document with Pipedrive data from any field – an easy and quick way to personalize your documents. Or upload a PDF into Smart Docs.

Then simply choose “create an envelope in DocuSign” and set up the required fields (i.e., specify recipients, customize the email message and add DocuSign fields). Once you’ve sent your envelope, you’ll receive status updates when the envelope has been viewed, signed and completed – all directly in Pipedrive!

Setup and installation

1. Click “Install” at the top of this page
2. Read the terms and conditions and allow Pipedrive and DocuSign to access data
3. If you are not logged into DocuSign, you can log in or create a new account (Note: you will be synced to your default DocuSign account)
4. Make sure the DocuSign setting option “Send Individual Messages” is set to “Inactive"
5. You will be able to create an envelope from a document created in Smart Docs or one uploaded from your device. You can create and upload documents via the “Documents” tab in the deal view
6. You are ready to use the DocuSign integration with Pipedrive!

GDPR notice: If you uninstall the DocuSign app, Pipedrive will store any completed signature documents and the status of the envelope and recipient.
