We believe it takes great people to create a great product. That’s why our team lives our company values, and we hire based on them, too. Since 2010, Pipedrive has been on a mission to support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We have grown from a five-person team to a truly international company of over 850+ people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US. In 2020, Pipedrive received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, a global investment firm that invests exclusively in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, making Pipedrive the fifth unicorn from Estonia.
Our engineering team is our biggest team, yet we try to keep it flat and scalable using an innovative model built around independently operating Tribes. An Engineering Manager heads each Tribe and is a self-sufficient and self-organizing unit with full ownership of its area, accommodating Product Managers, Designers, and all necessary Engineering roles. Engineers have a lot of freedom, they get to pick Missions to work on and when they’re done with a Mission, they’re back at the Launchpad keeping the show running and recovering before the next Mission.

Role specification:
We’re building a new tribe within our Platform team, focused on Product Consistency and Experience. This new team will own key horizontal features of our product like search, chat, and notifications—features that directly impact our users and drive the seamless experience our customers expect.
If you’re excited by the chance to build a foundational team, influence impactful product features, and bring a fresh perspective to platform consistency, this role is for you. We also believe in the importance of connection, and organizing tribe dinners, offsites, and events to keep our team inspired and aligned.

  • Drive and lead process improvements and/or engineering initiatives from conception to deployment in the entire engineering department
  • Advocate for advanced and modern software development and organizational practices
  • Participate in budget planning and control in areas such as training and events
  • Represent Pipedrive externally with different types of audiences: 3rd party vendors, partners, engineering meetups, conferences, etc
  • Being a role model for engineers and other managers in engineering

Does this sound like you?

  • Strong foundation in software engineering with a comprehensive understanding of modern software development practices
