We’re looking for a web optimization manager to join our web team in Berlin and take ownership of our website’s conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy. In this role, you will focus on conversion and experimentation, driving A/B testing, analyzing user behavior, and collaborating with our teams to improve conversion metrics. Beyond running tests, you will take a holistic approach to conversion optimization, ensuring our website maximizes visitor-to-trial (V2T) conversions while also supporting paid marketing efforts with data-backed recommendations. If this sounds exciting to you, we would love to chat!
Your New Adventure
- Own the A/B testing roadmap by leading ideation, prioritization, and execution of experiments to improve website performance and user experience
- Analyze and optimize key conversion points and go beyond V2T optimization by identifying opportunities to improve conversion across landing pages, paid marketing campaigns, and organic traffic
- Use tools like Optimizely, GA4, Tableau, and Hotjar to extract insights, measure test impact, and inform decision-making
- Own day-to-day reporting and documentation by maintaining structured tracking of A/B tests, ensuring visibility into learnings and providing data-backed insights to refine strategies
- Present A/B test insights and broader conversion analysis to leadership and stakeholders, driving buy-in for optimizations
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and content specialists to ensure A/B testing and conversion improvements align with broader website initiatives
- Work closely with researchers, developers, designers, and marketing teams to bring experiments to life, ensuring seamless execution
- Manage and coordinate with our external CRO agency to scale testing efforts and implement data-driven improvements
- Advise paid marketing and demand generation teams on landing page performance, alternative page usage, and campaign optimizations
- Drive continuous learning, stay ahead of industry trends, new tools, and best practices to enhance our CRO strategy
Does this sound like you?
- 2+ years of experience in website conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and data-driven experimentation
- Strong analytical mindset and an ability to interpret data, uncover insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Hands-on experience with CRO tools like Optimizely (or similar), and analytics platforms such as GA4, Tableau, FullStory, ContentSquare, or Hotjar
- Strong UX and usability knowledge, ability to assess page design, messaging, and layouts from a conversion perspective
- Experience working with developers: understanding of implementing tests and web optimizations effectively
- Experience working with paid marketing teams: understanding of how web performance impacts paid acquisition and ability to suggest optimizations
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to present insights, influence stakeholders, and drive buy-in for testing and optimization initiatives
